Welcome to The Empire Farm
The Empire Farm is an organic farm owned by Sally and Adrian Morgan. The farm occupies 100 acres in the Blackmore Vale, near Wincanton in Somerset.
Sally and Adrian raise organic geese, ducks, turkeys, sheep and pigs. They are very keen to help promote rare breeds, and they do this by choosing traditional and endangered breeds wherever possible. There is a small breeding flock of Dorset down and Southdown sheep, and a herd of Gloucester Old Spot and Saddleback pigs. The farm supports a wide variety of rare breed poultry, including geese, ducks, turkeys and chickens as well as a few rheas.

Meat from our animals can be purchased via the mail order service on this website. The products available vary during the year.
The farm is also the venue for a wide range of butchery and smallholder workshops which take place in the newly renovated Coach House. New courses and dates with Dan Green and Andrew Sartain.
The farmhouse is a former rectory, and has a fascinating history, with parts of the property dating back to 1606. The farm has a very spacious, and fully self-contained holiday let, called Garden Lodge, which has been renovated to provide first-class holiday accommodation for up to 6 people.
Sally and Adrian trust that you find this site informative and useful, and hope that you will buy some meat or stay in the Garden Lodge, or perhaps even do both!
You can now join our mailing list, and receive emails telling you about special events that are happening, courses that are planned, or meat that is shortly to become available.
