Traditional dry cured Gammon

Some of our gammons are dry cured. We rub a mix of sea salt, organic herbs, black pepper, and other spices into the meat and allow it to cure for a couple of weeks. Although our meat is organic, the label will not bear an SA logo as we have not added this product to our organic schedule.

These gammons are available for Christmas delivery only. They are suplied vacuum packaged so the meat will keep in a fridge for 14 days. We provide full cooking instructions.

Please note that the cure contains a permitted preservative which we add to prevent the growth of the harmful bacteria that cause botulism.
