In order for Empire Farm to carry out its function as a provider of educational courses, we process personal data. Empire Farm is committed to maintaining the appropriate confidentiality, integrity and security of personal data that we process by complying with both our legal and ethical obligations in respect of data protection and privacy. Empire Farm does not pass on any customer information to third parties.

Our courses are booked through our ticketing agents Eventbrite and Helm Tickets who act as data processors and provide the online tools for organisers.  They are both GDPR compliant. Their privacy policies can be found here: and

When you purchase tickets to register for an event, you are required to supply your name and email address. The ticketing agents process your personal data to help administer the event, for example by sending confirmatory emails, reminders and processing payments and to help us, the organiser, to administrate our events and understand the success of our events (for example through the use of analytics, reports etc). The only data we have access to is your name and email address.

We store your personal data in a secure environment.  We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to provide you with our services, or for other important purposes such as complying with legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing our agreements.

Certain electronic communications from Empire Farm,  Eventbrite and Helm are responsive to your requests. For instance, on booking a place, your ticket is emailed to you. If you email Empire Farm or the customer support department of the ticketing agencies, you will get a response by email. Notwithstanding any unsubscribe election that you have made, you will still receive these transactional or responsive emails. You can stop receiving these types of emails only by contacting us or the ticketing agencies directly. By electing to stop receiving all electronic communications from us or through our system you will no longer receive any updates on events you are registered to attend (including emails with your tickets). We do not recommend that you do this unless you plan to no longer use the services, are not currently registered for an event and will have no need to receive further communications from us or through our system.

Empire Farm may use the email tools provided by our ticketing agents to send marketing emails to those on our email subscription list, including people who have registered for our events in the past and have given their consent to be contacted.  There is an unsubscribe link on each email so recipients may opt out of email updates.
