Go the whole hog (or just halfway, if your freezer is small)! A half a pig weighs between 20 and 25kg (not including the head, which we do not usually supply, but are happy to on request). A whole pig weighs between 45 and 50kg. Our standard cuts include: - leg joints
- rolled shoulder joint
- rolled loin joint
- tenderloin
- loin chops
- spare ribs
- belly pork
- diced or minced pork
- trotters
- bones that were removed during butchery, so you can use them for making stock
Your pig is butchered to order, so we can easily tailor the cuts to your requirements. The pork is packed in an insulated box with freezer packs and delivered by overnight courier. Please call the office before ordering a whole or half pig as we do not have pigs available all year round. Half pigs will be available in autumn 2010. |
