Dan Green is a fifth-generation farmer who  runs 12 Green Acres, near Wareham in Dorset with his wife Charlotte. He raises free-range pigs, beef cattle and sheep to very high standards of animal welfare. He has an on-farm butchery and kitchen, where all of the farm’s meat is processed. He has travelled widely to learn more about  charcuterie which is reflected in  the products he produces from his meat. He is soon to be producing a range of salamis with a Dorset twist.

Dan is a regular at local shows and farmer’s markets where he sells a range of meat together with  his award-winning sausages, traditional pies, pastries and charcuterie,  pates, scotch eggs, quiches, sausage rolls and faggots.  Dan has a stall at four London markets on Saturdays including Notting Hill, Parliament Hill and Pimlico Road.
